It is 1\/8 thick and flat grinded but left with a robust edge and tip.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt comes in at 12.5in end to end with 7.5 inches of usable edge, and the handle has plenty of real estate at 5 inches.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was designed to be used at the camp and on the cutting board.
